The Next Big App for Foodies

Trying to keep up with all the latest phone apps is like trying to follow Charlie Sheen’s logic at 2 in the morning on a Saturday after thirty rails of Peruvian flake.  The variety of material is only exceeded by the staggering volume.

Now, I don’t claim to be the authority on apps (says
the man with over 200 on his phone; most being games about zombies), however I have a new favorite that promises to catch on like wildfire.  It combines the
best features of apps like Yelp and iWant to show you the best food in your immediate vicinity.

Dishling works by aggregating the information from all of the most popular food sites and ranking the most popular dishes of every neighborhood.  The reason its different from all the others is because it shows you the things you don’t know about.  The problem I always have with Yelp is that I sorta need to know what I’m looking for, and the problem with iWant is that the options it delivers are not really held to any standard of quality.

Shout out to my good buddy Eapen for turning me on to what is likely going to be my favorite app this year.  At least, until they invent Zombie Dishling.
